If you are one of my very very few (33) Norwegian visitiors, you may or may not be excited to know that I will be heading over to present virtualization backup strategies at the Thinpower 2008 event on the 7th and 8th of May. When the idea was first pitched to me I had no idea the Norwegian Citrix and Virtualization community was as large as it is, and I am actually quite excited about the trip.
I can honestly say that at this point, I know very little about Norway (and even less about Norwegian beers). I promise to do some homework prior to heading over to see how badly I can absolutely destroy your language.
More details about the event can be found at the Thinpower 2008 website at http://www.thinpower.no. For some reason, it looks like the organizers decided to not even mess around and just put my Bio in English on the otherwise entirely Norwegian site.
As a part of this trip I figured, why waste the opportunity to head to the UK for a few days? I'll be holding up in Windsor across the street from Windsor castle from the 10th to the 14th. I'm meeting with VMware in Frimley for the first half of Monday the 12th and running around to some customer and partner locations the second half of Monday and all of Tuesday. There should be opportunities to enjoy a few real beers while I am there. |
