VMware Announces ESX Server 3.5 and VirtualCenter 2.5 PDF Print
Written by Scott Herold

VMware officially released ESX Server 3.5 and VirtualCenter 2.5 today.  I've had my hands on the beta for a while and will provide some details throughout the week.  In additin I will be co-launching Mike Laverick's updated How-To guide in regards to the new functionality provided by these updated builds.

VMware has crammed enough new features into the new release to make any analyst drool.  Of course, I don't care about what the product claims it can do, I care about what it actually does and how it performs those tasks.  As I have time to organize my notes from the last few months I'll show which of the new features are truly what they should be, and which will disappoint for 18 months (similarly to the original implementation of VCB.)
