Well, I managed to survive the first winter storm for Chicago this year by staying inside and not driving around like an idiot. The fact that I slipped on the ice and landed on my back while trying to finish putting up holiday decorations when the storm was at its strongest only had a little to do with me not doing anything the remainder of the weekend.
I'm in the process of completing a brand new presentation that I will be delivering at the Wisconsin Area VMware User Group this Thursday in regards to optimizing the CPU, Memory and Storage resources of virtual machines both inside and outside the datacenter. I've actually been able to pack quite a bit of solid information into this one and should have an article to go along with it by the end of the week. There is a very likely chance that this will also evolve into a presentation I may be giving at VMworld Europe depending on the number of slots we are given.
Look for the new article to be available this week, and if you are a cheesehead who doesn't mind listening to a FIB (Sorry for the rivalry joke to those who may not understand) talk for about an hour, swing on by the Wisconsin Area VMUG this Thursday. |
